This collection of work marks a pivotal moment in the life of Mark M. Mellon's work. 
With a distinctive approach to style, color and texture, MUTATIO creates a new beginning to the storytelling done by Mellon in his own unique voice. 

Many works from this collection are in Private Collections around the world. 

This Collection created between 2018 and 2019 at my Studio in Ancient Troy (Çanakkale), Turkey, was one of my most expansive and in depth series of the mind, personality and the relationship of mankind. The series has remained one of my collector favorites and is now all but sold out. In this collection, as with most, I rarely work on sketches before hand, and when I do they most often are discarded, or of very low quality and quickly done. This sketch is one of the only two from this series at all, and also one of interesting value.
